I am looking forward to welcoming you in my private practice for thyroid and aesthetic in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee or virtually online. My name is Dr Scarlett Lewitschnig, I am a consultant in nuclear medicine, general medicine and holistic medicine with focus on thyroid and aesthetics.

Your private physician for thyroid

As a private physician, I do not have a contract with health insurance companies, meaning you will initially have to pay my invoices yourself. However, upon request, I will gladly submit the invoices to your health insurance company immediately so that you can receive a partial reimbursement depending on the diagnosis, services provided, and your individual circumstances.

As a private physician, I have the opportunity to dedicate as much time as you need. Shorter notice and more flexible appointment scheduling are also possible. If you keep your appointment, you will generally not experience any waiting time.

To feel good in our skin it sometimes needs a little help. This help can be nutritional advice, skin care tips or minimal invasive targeted therapy. My patients profit from my international experiences in skin care and aesthetics.

Procedure in the doctor’s office

If you are coming for a thyroid examination, please fill out a questionnaire beforehand. Please also refrain from taking any thyroid medication on the day of the examination. During the consultation, I will first take your medical history, followed by an ultrasound examination of your thyroid.

Depending on your medical history and the ultrasound findings, I will order blood tests, and if necessary, after informing you about any nodules, a biopsy will be taken. At the end of the consultation, I will discuss the ultrasound findings with you. The report, including the lab results and my recommendations, will be sent to your primary care physician.

If you are coming for a cosmetic procedure, you will receive a medical history and information sheet via email beforehand, which you should complete and bring with you. Please come to your appointment without makeup.

Price list

Waiting times are short, and patients can wait in an available treatment room if they wish. During the initial consultation, we will discuss your specific problems, define your therapy goals, and create a treatment plan. Photos will be taken at the beginning and after each treatment for documentation purposes. If you would like, I can also create a personalized skincare plan for you.

If you are coming for a comprehensive examination, including a muscle test as part of functional myodiagnostics, I will send you a detailed questionnaire via email beforehand, which you should bring with you to your appointment.

On the day of the examination, I would ask you to refrain from taking any dietary supplements and to bring all supplements and medications (please do not include empty packaging!) with you for testing. You can find more information about the procedure and method here.
